Background of the Study
Cultural festivals are integral to preserving and showcasing the heritage, values, and traditions of communities. In Otukpo Local Government Area (LGA), Benue State, cultural festivals such as the Idoma International Carnival serve as platforms for cultural expression, community bonding, and economic stimulation. Public relations (PR) plays a vital role in promoting these festivals, utilizing strategic communication, media relations, and stakeholder engagement to attract audiences and sponsors.
